
Getting Started With RVSitebuilder Pro
Below you will find a visual aid to help you through understanding RVSitebuilder in your cPanel to help in creating your own website. RVSitebuilder has many features to kickstart your first website and build it fast.
Please use the steps shown here as a to start creating your own website using RVSitebuiler.
When you start RVSitebuilder for the first time you will see the welcome screen with digital post-it notes. This is the home page or starting point for RVSitebuilder and whenever you start a new project this is where and what you'll see.
The first thing you need to do in RVSitebuilder when creating your website is to give it a project name. This wil allow you to remember the type of project you're working on and to come back to it at a later time. You also need to set the lanuage for the site, English, Chinese or Freanch and give your website a web site title. Add a company name if you wish a slogan to go with your company name and finally a logo that can be uploaded.
If you don't have a company name, slogan or logo, you can tick the tick box at the top of this step one to tell RVSitebuilder what you don't have. Remember you can always can back to the project at a later time to add these if you want too.
Now it's time to select a template design for your website. RVSitebuilder has many templates to choose from. Just pick the one that best suits your situation and proceed.
In our example you can see coloured boxes underneath each template. These allows you to change the colour of the template to suit your needs.
We can now start to customize our example template for step 3.
In step 3 select your web style header picture as a man or woman. For our example we'll select woman. Then choose nagivation and font style.
After you saved your navigation style you can try it out on the left.
Step allows you to create your page structure. In our example you start by selecting default page structure drop down box.
In the "our suggestions" box are some suggestions for links on your site. You can select all or some of these links.
Under the "extra components" drop down box you have "special pages" available to choose from for other inner pages.
Once you've made your selection and are happy with your page structure, click on the "save" button to save your work.
This is where you can change content on your pages using any of the available tools.
Once you have changed content for the pages click on the save icon button to save your work.
This is where you can edit Page titles, setup Meta Tags for search engines and include special Page Effects and alter the page names.
